Jana has graduated Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences twice: with a bachelor's degree in Communication and Public Relations and a master's degree in Socio-technical System Modelling.  In this life stage she describes herself in two words - a positive hobo.  She likes good coffee, hitchhiking and spontaneous ideas. She has also participated in the organization of the 7th - 10th Baltic International Summer School and after a short break this year she will be responsible for public relations.

Oskars is studying Business Administration in Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences. As a student he is goal-oriented and always excited to learn more. New knowledge, new experience and new goals – it all brings freshness to life – this is why Oskars always wants to widen his field of interests. His hobbies have varied from making wooden furniture to dreaming of building his own hot rod. He is a gear-head who is never afraid to get his hands dirty. Honesty and directness are qualities Oskars appreciates the most. His favorite quotation is: “Journey is what brings us happiness, not the destination…”

Baiba is a 3rd year student of tour guiding in Vidzeme University of Applied Science. Baiba lived 6 months in Gran Canaria as an exchange student and it was a great experience for her. Baiba is very interested in different languages, cultures and traditions. In her free time Baiba enjoys traveling, watching romantic movies and comedies, spending her time in nature and relaxing.

Baiba is a 1st year student of Public Relations and Communication programme at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences. She has finished Valmiera State Gymnasium and what`s important - she is a real patriot of her native town - Valmiera. She has taken part in numerous German Exchange programmes which definitely have broadened her horizon about other cultures and traditions. Thus she has made new friends, contacts and, undoubtedly, new emotions. Baiba is extremely sociable, friendly person, ready for challenges. Smile, time spent together with friends and positive emotions are the things without which she cannot imagine her everyday life

Ieva is a 2nd year Media Sciences and Journalism student. Ieva enjoys travelling, studying new languages, reading and experimenting with food. She is also crazy for camping and hiking, amusement parks and fun people. During many trips and projects Ieva has participated in, she has learned about different cultures and people, learned to appreciate them and find similarities with her own... Gundega is a 1st year student of Media and Journalism at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences. She likes to spend her free time by doing such activities as travelling (sometimes by hitchhiking), spending time with friends, sleeping outside during the summer. Three things Gundega can't live without is definitely music, creativity and sleeping.

Dana is a 4th year undergraduate student of Communication and Public Relations in Vidzeme University Of Applied Sciences. She is responsible for web page content. Dana also took part in the Baltic International Summer School 2007 and has participated in the organization of the school in 2008 and 2009. And she is glad to participate in the organization again.
